צ'ארלס סקוט

צ'ארלס סקוט (באנגלית: Charles I. Scott, Jr) הוא רופא ילדים וגנטיקאי רפואי אמריקאי . שמו נקשר לתסמונת אורשקוג-סקוט ולתסמונת הכט-סקוט.

ביוגרפיה

צ'ארלס סקוט למד בפקולטה לרפואה של אוניבסריטת ארקנסו בה סיים בשנת 1959 התמחות ברפואת ילדים עשה השתלמות בגנטיקה הרפואית באוניברסיטת ג'ונס הופקינס והשתלמות בקליניקה לרפואת הילדים של אוניברסיטת ברמינגהאם באנגליה. כמו כן השתלם בכירורגיה בבית החולים סנט וינסט בפורטלנד (אורגון) (1981). הוא מכהן כפרופסור לרפואת ילדים במכללה הרפואית ג'פרסון וכגנטיקאי רפואי במכון אלפרד י. דופונט בוילמינגטון (דלאוור)
