אליזבת בדינטר

אליזבת בדינטר (בצרפתית: Élisabeth Badinter; נולדה ב-5 במרץ 1944; בצרפתית מבטאים בַּדֶנְטֶר) היא סופרת, פילוסופית והיסטוריונית פמיניסטית יהודיה צרפתית. בדינטר מלמדת פילוסופיה ב-École Polytechnique בפריז.
בספרה "וגם אהבה: תולדותיה של אהבת אם מן המאה ה-17 ועד המאה ה-20" אשר העניק לה פרסום ותורגם גם לעברית, יוצאת בדינטר במחקר פוקויאני נגד התפיסה של אהבת אם כיצר מולד ומבקשת לשחרר את הנשים מהרעיון שהן חייבות להיות אמהות.
אליזבת בדינטר נמנית עם תומכיה של תנועת "La paix maintenant", תנועה ששמה לה למטרה לתמוך ולקדם את תנועת שלום עכשיו בצרפת.
בדינטר היא בת למשפחה יהודית. האם הייתה במקור נוצרייה קתולית והתגיירה לאחר הנישואין ולה שתי אחיות. נשואה לרובר בדינטר, עורך דין יהודי צרפתי, מרצה למשפטים שכיהן בעבר כשר המשפטים של צרפת, הידוע במיוחד בזכות מאבקו לביטול עונש המוות בצרפת ב-1981; להם שלושה ילדים.
