מַנְדָנָה סֵייפֵדִינִיפּוּר (נולדה ב-1967) היא בלשנית איראנית.
ביוגרפיה
סייפדיניפור גדלה בגרמניה.[1] היא למדה בלשנות ולימודים איראניים באוניברסיטה החופשית של ברלין, שם השלימה תואר שני. לאחר מכן השלימה דוקטורט במכון מקס פלאנק לפסיכובלשנות באוניברסיטת ראדבאוט בניימכן, שם למדה בין השנים 2000 ל-2005. עבודת הדוקטור שלה נקראה "אי-רהיטות: הפרעות לדיבור ולתנועה".[2] לאחר מכן עשתה פוסט-דוקטורט באוניברסיטת סטנפורד משנת 2007 עד 2010.
לאחר שהות קצרה נוספת במכון מקס פלאנק, עברה סייפדיניפור בשנת 2010 לבית הספר ללימודי אפריקה והמזרח (SOAS) באוניברסיטת לונדון, שם כיהנה כראש התוכנית לתיעוד שפות נכחדות, אשר מאז 2002 מעניקה מענקים לתיעוד שפות נכחדות, במימון קרן ארקדיה. מאז 2014 מנהלת סייפדיניפור את ארכיון השפות בסכנת הכחדה (ELAR), שעוסק בשימור דיגיטלי של שפות בסכנת הכחדה ומנגיש את האוסף לכל העולם דרך האינטרנט.[3]
בהיותה מומחית בתחום השימוש בשפה, ובמולטימדיה, סייפדיניפור מדריכה מדענים בדרכי איסוף והנגשה של אוספי מולטימדיה של שפות בסכנת הכחדה.
סייפדיניפור מלמדת קורסים בנושא המודוס החזותי של השפה, השימוש בווידאו במחקר שטח על שפות בסכנת הכחדה, פסיכולוגיית שפה, ושימוש בשפה. תחומי המחקר שלה מתמקדים בתיעוד (וידאו ושמע) של שימוש בשפה, פסיכובלשנות, והפקת שפה.
