שגיאת לואה ביחידה יחידה:תבנית_מידע בשורה 261: תבנית ארגון ריקה.IANDS (ראשי תיבות באנגלית של: International Association for Near-Death Studies, תרגום: האגודה הבינלאומית לחקר חוויות סף-מוות) הוא מוסד ללא כוונת רווח עם משרדים ראשיים בדרהאם, צפון קרוליינה, העוסק בפן האקדמי של חקר חוויות סף-מוות (NDE).[1][2][3][4][5][6][7] העמותה נוסדה בארצות הברית בשנת 1981, על מנת ללמוד ולספק מידע על תופעות של חוויית סף מוות. ועם השנים הפכה לארגון בינלאומי, אשר כולל יותר מ-50 קבוצות מקומיות ברחבי העולם, וכ-850 חברים. אגודות, קבוצות הדרכה ותמיכה, הוקמו בערים הגדולות בארצות הברית.[8][9][10][11][12] IANDS תומך ומסייע לאנשים החווים חוויית סף-מוות, משפחותיהם ואנשים הקרובים להם. באופן רשמי הארגון גיבש חזון של רצון לבנות "הבנה גלובלית של המוות, וחוויית סף-מוות, באמצעות מחקר, חינוך ותמיכה".
