It Is What It Is הוא אלבום האולפן הרביעי של המוזיקאי האמריקאי ת'אנדרקאט. האלבום יצא לאור ב-3 באפריל 2020, על ידי חברת התקליטים בריינפידר.[8] האלבום נתמך על ידי חמישה סינגלים: "King of the Hill", שיצא כסינגל מאלבום האוסף Brainfeeder X של הלייבל בריינפידר בשנת 2018, "Black Qualls",‏ "Dragonball Durag",‏ "Fair Chance" ו-"Innerstellar Love", הארבעה האחרונים יצאו בשנת 2020.

האלבום הופק על ידי ת'אנדרקאט והמפיק פליינג לוטוס,[9] ומכיל הופעות אורח של לואיס קול, סטיב לייסי, סטיב ארינגטון וצ'יילדיש גמבינו, זאק פוקס, טיי דולה סיין, ליל בי ופדרו מרטינס.[10] הרצועה האחרונה באלבום הנושאת את שמו כוללת דגימה ווקאלית של הראפר המנוח מק מילר. ת'אנדרקאט ציין כי האלבום מוקדש לו.[11]

האלבום זכה לשבחי הביקורת, תוך שהמבקרים שיבחו את ההומור באלבום, כמו גם את דרכו של ת'אנדרקאט להביע רגשות.[12][13][14] בטקס פרסי גראמי ה-63, זכה האלבום בקטגוריית "אלבום ה-R&B המתקדם הטוב ביותר".[15]
