שגיאת לואה ביחידה יחידה:תבנית_מידע בשורה 261: תבנית אישיות ריקה. אברהם (אָבִי) בֵּסֶר (נולד ב-1967) הוא ראש החוג להפרעות בתקשורת במכללה אקדמית הדסה ירושלים, משנת 2013 ועד 2019 כהן כמשנה לנשיא המכללה האקדמית ספיר.פרופסור מן המניין, חוקר בעל שם בינלאומי בתחום הפסיכולוגיה ופסיכולוג חינוכי מומחה[1]. בסר הוא מייסד ויו"ר "הקתדרה לחקר האישיות, מעברי חיים ואירועי לחץ" במכללת ספיר[2].

ביוגרפיה

בסר נולד, גדל והתחנך בדימונה. בוגר בית הספר התיכון ליהמן בעיר. את שירותו הצבאי עשה בחיל האוויר, במערך ההגנה האווירית. בשנות האלפיים, הוא משמש קב"ן בשירות מילואים פעיל.

בסר הוא בוגר תואר ראשון במדעי ההתנהגות, תואר שני בפסיכולוגיה ובעל דוקטורט מאוניברסיטת בן-גוריון. נושא המחקר בעבודת התיזה שלו בפסיכולוגיה קוגניטיבית היה "פיצוי בתפיסה מראייה תלת ממדית המוצגת מזוויות צפייה שונות". עבודת הדוקטורט, אותה השלים בסר בשנת 2000, עסקה בתלותיות וביקורתיות עצמית ודיכאון: מודל של שינוי במצב הרוח במעבר לאימהות.

בשנת 2002 עסק בפוסט-דוקטורט במעבדה של פרופסור גורדין פלאט מהמחלקה לפסיכולוגיה באוניברסיטת יורק שבטורונטו.

מחקריו עוסקים בחקר האישיות והפסיכולוגיה החברתית, בדגש על גורמי פגיעות וחוסן לדיכאון במהלך החיים ותפקוד בין אישי. נושאים נוספים אותם חקר בסר היו גורמי פגיעות בדיכאון שלאחר לידה, התקשרות והסתגלות פסיכולוגית בקרב ילדים, מתבגרים ואימהות, פרפקציוניזם, הערכה עצמית, מצוקה ודיכאון, אובדנות, הערכה עצמית, סגנונות הומור והפרעת דחק פוסט-טראומטית.

בין השנים 2005–2007 קיבל בסר מענק מחקר מטעם המדען הראשי של משרד החינוך בישראל למחקר בנושא מגבלות המיומנות החברותית של ילדים עם הפרעת קשב, ריכוז והיפראקטיביות, והשלכותיהן על תפקוד רגשי.

בסר זכה בפרס מטעם ארגון "הפסיכולוגיה מעבר לגבולות" על מחקרו בנושא: השלכות החשיפה של אירועי טרור על הנפגעים ובני זוגם: גורמי פגיעות וגורמי חוסן.

בשנת 2014 אישר הוועד המנהל של המכללה האקדמית ספיר את מינויו כמשנה לנשיא לעניינים אקדמיים. הוא החליף את אורי רגב, אשר כיהן בתפקיד במשך שלוש שנים. בשנת 2015 מונה בסר לעורך כתב העת הבינלאומי BMC Psychology העוסק בחקר האישיות וההבדלים הבין אישיים בתחום הפסיכולוגיה. כתב העת הוא חלק מסדרת כתבי העת הבינלאומיים BMC. בשנת 2019 מונה בסר לראש חוג הפרעות בתקשורת במכללת הדסה.

בסר חבר הסתדרות הפסיכולוגים בישראל, חבר האיגוד הבינלאומי לאישיות ופסיכולוגיה חברתית, חבר האיגוד הבינלאומי לפסיכולוגיה חברתית וקלינית וחבר האיגוד הישראלי לחקר ההומור. הוא משמש כעורך וחבר מערכת במספר כתבי עת בינלאומיים. הוא שותף לקבוצות מחקר בעולם ביניהן שותפים חוקרים מקנדה, ארצות הברית, פורטוגל, בלגיה ועוד. מאמריו פורסמו בכתבי עת מובילים בתחומם.

בסר יזם את פרויקט ההתנדבות "ספיר בעיר" - מיזם שבמסגרתו מרצי המכללה האקדמית ספיר יוצאים להרצאות בתחומים מגוונים ביישובי עוטף עזה. ההרצאות פתוחות לקהל, כחלק מהפעילות התרבותית והקהילתית של המכללה בסביבה.
