מרכז המידע הפלסטיני (באנגלית: The Palestinian Information Center (PIC); בערבית: المركز الفلسطيني للإعلام, תעתיק מדויק: אל-מרכז אלפלסטיני ללאיעלאם) הוא אתר חדשות פלסטיני המזוהה עם חמאס.
היסטוריה
מרכז המידע הפלסטיני הוא אתר חדשות פלסטיני שהוקם לראשונה בערבית ב-1 בדצמבר 1997 ולאחר מכן באנגלית ב-1 בינואר 1998. 7 שפות אחרות הגיעו בעקבותיו. זהו אחד האתרים הנצפים ביותר ברשות הפלסטינית. האתר שואף לקדם "מודעות לגבי פלסטין, הפלסטינים והנושא הפלסטיני".[1]
ביוני 2017 האתר, יחד עם לפחות 10 אתרי חדשות פלסטיניים נוספים שמרכזם מחוץ ליהודה ושומרון, נחסמו בהוראת התובע הציבורי של הרשות הפלסטינית.[2] עמוד הפייסבוק של המרכז, שהיה לו קרוב ל-5 מיליון עוקבים, הוסר באוקטובר 2019, מה שגרם להפגנות באמצעות ההאשטאג #FBblocksPalestine.[3] אתר האינטרנט שלו חסום על ידי הרשות הפלסטינית.[4]
שיוך
מרכז המידע הפלסטיני הוא כלי תקשורת של חמאס,[2][5][6][7] והוא אתר השער המוביל ברשת התעמולה המקוונת של חמאס המונה עשרים אתרי אינטרנט. התוכן והסיקור החדשותי שלו מכוונים בעיקר לאידאולוגיה וההיסטוריה של חמאס.[8]
